YouTuber Vijay P posted anti-woman. Prosecution says bail should not be granted to accused in Nair's assault case. The prosecution had opposed the anticipatory bail applications of dubbing artists Bhagyalakshmi, Diya Sana and Sreelakshmi Arakkal. Their bail application was considered by the Second Additional Sessions Court.
The prosecution argued that granting bail to the accused would motivate those who take the law into their own hands and there would be more offenders.
Bhagyalakshmi and his gang beat up Vijay P Nair, who had aired a video on YouTube insulting women, and beat him up.
It was also broadcast live on social media. Police have registered a case against Vijay P Nair for insulting women.
The court will rule on the bail application on the 9th of this month
