A total of 2.3337 kg of gold was seized at the Karipur airport. Two persons, including a woman, were arrested by the customs.They were two Air Arabia passengers who arrived from Sharjah last night. Attempts were made to smuggle the gold in mixed form. Jazeela, a native of Kannur, tried to smuggle 1.6736 kg of mixed gold in her underwear.
